Scandinavian Slat Headboard
This Scandinavian slat headboard is a type of headboard commonly found in Scandinavian interior design. It features clean, simple lines with minimal ornamentation. Scandinavian design typically emphasizes functionality, simplicity, natural materials, and often feature a horizontal pattern that creates a minimalist, modern look.

We used white oak and milled the rough lumber to create the slats.
The slats were assembled together.

The headboard has been sanded and is ready for finishing.
We used a water based finish so the wood would be protected but wouldn't yellow to keep the natural light wood color.
Shelves were added and now this is ready to be installed. The shelves slide in from the sides and can be adjusted.
