Modern Trestle Table
This is a modern take on a traditional trestle table.
Trestle tables are often associated with a rustic or farmhouse style, thanks to their simple, sturdy design. We incorporated these simple and sturdy design principles but we built this table with new walnut hardwoods giving it a smooth-to-the-touch finish.
The base is simple and built with clean lines. It's substantial enough to create visual balance without overpowering the top.
The table was built with mortise and tenon joinery and is strong enough to last for generations.

Boards were carefully selected and a layout was chosen.
The top was glued up in 2 sections.
Sanding the top and getting ready to finish.
A hard wax oil finish was applied and the table is almost completed!
Custom steel plates were made to mount the top to the base.
